Antye Greie-Ripatti is a digital songwriter, electronic musician, sound artist, composer, poet, curator, educator, and public speaker. Born in 1969 and raised in East Germany, she has been living and working in Hailuoto, Finland, since 2008. Her work emphasizes the relationship between language and sound, voice and communication. These tensions are expressed in her music, audiovisual live performances, and sound installations. Her commissioned works include movies and theater pieces, exhibitions as well as conceptual works. Greie-Ripatti has released 30 long player records and numerous collaborations under artistic pseunonyms such as AGF, AGF/Delay (with Vladislav Delay), Greie Gut Fraktion (with Gudrun Gut), and The Lappetites (with Kaffe Matthews and Eliane Radigue). On several occasions, she has collaborated with award-winning classical composer Craig Armstrong. She runs the production company and music label AGF PRODUCTION and is founder of the arts organization Hai Art in Hailuoto.
