Character DJ is a Berlin based DJ/Performer, who focuses on the aesthetics of contradiction. Exploring the sensuality of deviance in technics and sonics, her sets seek weight in a mosaic of dubby soundscapes, club deconstructions, and sample culture. Movement light as lead, heavy as glass—fluxed in corporeal unison.

In a similar tightrope act, her praxis oscillates between club fervor with sets at Soul Feeder, Gentle Leash or Mordorkore and curating nights at ambient listening bar kwia under names such as ill ville, reveries or Lorrender. Recently she started a radio experiment exploring the collective unconscious and dreaming together with fellow artist creo en todo on Cashmere Radio.
