Christoffer Horlitz is a researcher and curator working on security, queer issues and digital politics. Since 2012 he has been the artistic director of Fuchsbau Art and Politics Festival in Germany. The project critically discusses current movements in society through a wide range of disciplines including performances, media arts, debates and music. His master’s thesis deals with human rights in the development of digital border management systems through biometrics and blockchain technology. In this context, he is collaborating on an exhibition with Ayo Okunseinde to take place in New York, Berlin and Beirut questioning the impact of emerging digital borderscapes on the lives, works, and practice of artists.
