Emotion drives CYPHR’s sonic ethos. The London-bred, Berlin-based DJ culls from an eclectic catalogue that reflects his passion for ethereal melodies, hard drum, hip-hop, and film scores. As a producer, CYPHR draws from years of piano and classical training. His sound weaves intricate drum programming, vocal synths, and roving melodies into tenebrous grooves suited for both high-octane club environments and the post-weekend emotional nadir. In 2012, CYPHR co-founded underground club imprint Her Records and expanded his reach with a release on New York’s PTP and Paris’ Sound Pellegrino labels.
