Laure M. Hiendl is a composer and performer whose work is situated between concert music, performance, musical theater, installation and other interdisciplinary realms. They explore the performativity of the space-time-body relationship in music as a live act, as a shared space in time between bodies for an event that is inherently theatrical. 

Hiendl’s works have been presented at festivals and institutions, including Ultraschall and Akademie der Künste in Berlin, the Darmstadt School, Graz’s Impuls, and The Kitchen and Roulette in New York, among others, while their opera installation “PARADISE” was premiered on the Musikprotokoll platform, as part of Steirischer Herbst festival in 2016. They are currently pursuing a doctorate at New York’s Columbia University with George E. Lewis.
