LONELY BOYS are Daphne Ahlers and Rosa Rendl, who are based between Berlin and Vienna. Rosa, who was born in 1983, lives and works in Vienna. Her work was recently on display in the exhibitions “How Alive Are You” at the Bar Du Bois (2014), “Let’s Mingle” at Franz Josefs Kai 3 (2014), and “Rendl-Wittmann & Buschmann” in Vienna (in collaboration with Adrian Buschmann, 2014). In 2010, Daphne Ahlers and Rendl formed the band Lonely Boys. Their latest performances include concerts at Künstlerhaus in Graz (2015) and Kunstraum Niederösterreich in Vienna (2014). In addition, they also played live at Halle für Kunst in Lüneburg. Here, their performance featured a video installation by Philipp Timischl. In 2013 their first EP ‘Go Down Easy’ was released with Moun10 Records.
