Lyzza is a Brazilian-born, Berlin-based producer, vocalist, and avant-pop star who approaches every record like a new creative challenge. Starting as a ballroom DJ, she has always been drawn to music that mocks boundaries, while being inspired by the likes of Björk and Arca, as well as being affiliated with the late producer SOPHIE. Lyzza first broke through at 17 years old with 2017’s Power Play EP, a fierce experimental club record that made its way onto the runway soundtracks of Chromat and Mugler. She further cementing her invaluable role in the Netherlands club scene by forming the women and QTPOC-centered X3 party that same year.

Following up the shadowy club anthems of her first release with the emotionally-potent Imposter EP in 2018, Lyzza demonstrated her vocal mastery and songwriting gifts over twinkling ‘90s-inspired production. Her next Defiance EP presented the artist at her most lyrically vulnerable, while also tapping Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and Jungle’s Tom McFarland for its “Neverland” single. From 2020 till now, Lyzza’s collaborations have included a feature on Amnesia Scanner’s 2020 Tearless album, while also touring Europe and playing such festivals as Sónar, Melt!, Pukkelpop, and Primavera Sound.
