Natália Trejbalová deals with systems of visual representation and how they‘re shaped by technological progress. Interested in speculative narratives and images, the Milan and Bratislava-based artist’s work situates itself, beyond the human scale, and in a wider ecosystem that can comprehend the past and the future, and even the non-living.
Trejbalová has participated in various group and solo exhibitions in different institutions and spaces, including Fotomuseum Winterthur, Copenhagen, Quadriennale di Roma, Regional Art Gallery Liberec, L’Esprit Nouveau in Bologna, PAV Turin, Enclave Projects and Gossamer Fog in the UK, and Galerie Charlot, France, Case Chiuse in Milan among others. She has also participated in residencies at Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, AIR Futura in Prague and SÍM Reykjavík, plus more.
