New Noveta is an interdisciplinary duo formed in London in 2011. Collaborating across choreography, performance, installation, and image-making, Keira Fox and Ellen Freed’s work is centered around labor and sociopolitical unrest and struggle. They create site-specific interventions through embodied characterizations, costuming, props and sound.
Notable international presentations by New Noveta include their solo exhibition and performance Fateful at Kunstverein Freiburg (2018), participation in Keren Cytter’s Cold Summer at Ludwig Forum (2022), and contributions to the Ester Krumbachova retrospective at House of Arts, Brno (2021). Fox and Freed’s project often features collaborations with the likes of Sophie Sleigh-Johnson, Astrid Gnosis, and Susu Laroche among others, and have shown at prominent venues including SMK Copenhagen, Ludwig Forum, and Synagogue de Delme, France. Recent work includes Nothing New at Beau Travail, Stockholm (2025).
