Viviana Abelson is an Argentinian artist working with video, sculpture, performance and installation, whose practice works through the tensions and limitations of its materials. She studied at Frankfurt am Main’s Städelschule with Prof. Douglas Gordon and Laure Provost, while also taking part in Prof. Josephine Pryde’s class at the University of the Arts in Berlin, as well as with Jorge Macchi at University of Torcuato Di Tella and LiPac at the University of Buenos Aires. 
Abelson’s most recent solo exhibitions include Silver Glaze at Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden, Edible at Graf von Westphalen in Frankfurt am Main and Sol de Noche at Zmud Projects in Buenos Aires. She has also participated in several recent group exhibitions at Frankfurter Kunstverein, Städel Museum, Kunstverein Göttingen, Cine Olido and others in 2018 and 2019.
