In this special lecture performance, SHTV collaborators Will Fredo and Mandhla retell stories of bio power and desire dynamics. Drawing from their cultural production while pulling from theoretical, internet culture and art historical references, “A History of Desire” explores notions of kink, sex contracts, and agency from a Black trans feminist perspective, punctuated by Mandhla’s own and cover songs about desire, love and acceptance.
