Claire Barrow first attracted notice as a fashion designer, creating collections alongside films, presentations, and installations that placed her designs in unusual contexts. Moving more recently from painting directly onto clothing to a more deconstructed method, the London-based interdisciplinary visual artist uses the materials and processes employed in the production of fashion to create unique sculptures and paintings. 

Recent solo exhibitions have been presented at Fieldworks, Dinner Party Gallery, and Soft Opening in London, as well as The New St Ives School in Cornwall, as part of a six-week residency. Barrow also participates in group shows across the UK, and internationally.

As of August 2023
