With an overall disregard for genres, the Berlin-based Turkish music composer and electronic sound artist uses field recordings, acoustic instruments, and deep textures to create harmonious noise and harsh ritualistic rhythms as narrative tools.

A second full-length, The Psychologist was released by Editions Mego in 2022, and is described as Utku’s most ambitious, authentic, and complex work to date.
