Cammack Lindsey, scientific parent in the processing of i.Ruuu, is a multidisciplinary artist constructing elaborate solo and group performances, and installations. Lindsey’s intent is to embed marginalized narratives through experimentations of color, space, coded sound, noise, the human voice and sometimes even tap dancing. Currently they are completing their masters in Art and Media at UdK Berlin, researching man’s fear of the ‘other’ and micro algae’s subjugation of our future synthetic realities. Based in Berlin, Lindsey has been an active part of the community, producing their first eight-hour musical with M.I/mi1glissé at Acker Stadt Palast, and collaborating with dancers such as Martha Hincapié Charry and Katharina Maijster. They have presented works in local institutions and venues in Berlin, as well as London, Linz and Mexico City. i.Ruuu will see their debut LP via Quantum Natives in 2019.
