Susanne Huber works as a researcher for art theory with a focus on feminist, queer, post- and decolonial topics at the University of Bremen. Ongoing fields of interest include fetishistic and fetishizing practices, the aesthetics of touch as well as queer ecologies. She is co-editor of the book series “Oyster. Feminist and Queer Approaches to Arts, Cultures, and Genders” (De Gruyter) and author of the book Vom Konsum des Begehrens. Appropriation Art, Sex Wars, und ein postmoderner Bilderstreit (De Gruyter, 2022). Her writings appear in Texte zur Kunst21: Inquiries into Art, History, and the VisualKritische Berichte, and other publications.
