Dorota Gawęda and Eglė Kulbokaitė are an artist duo established in 2013 and based in Basel. They are both 2012 graduates of the Royal College of Art in London, and their work spans performance, installation, fragrance, drawing, sculpture and video. They have exhibited internationally at Kunstverein Düsseldorf, Athens Biennale 13, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, MMOMA in Moscow, Baltic Triennial 13, Kunsthalle Basel, ICA London and Berlin Biennale 9, among others.

Recent solo shows include Body Archive, Zürich (2020); Trafo Gallery, Budapest (2020); Amanda Wilkinson Gallery, London (2020 & 2018), Futura, Prague (2019), Cell Project Space, London (2018), as well as upcoming exhibitions including horizontal vertigo, Julia Stoschek Collection, MOUTHLESS (DZIADY), On Curating project space, Zürich, Lucas Hirsch Gallery, Düsseldorf (solo, 2020), Istituto Svizzero, Milan (performance, 2020), and more. The duo are also the founders of YOUNG GIRL READING GROUP ( 2013 – ) and co-initiators of its online text archive hosted by ARIEL, Copenhagen.
