Ben Babbitt is a producer and composer working mainly within contemporary electronic music, performance, and scoring for visual media. The Los Angeles-based artist is known for creating the score for acclaimed video game Kentucky Route Zero, as well as feature film Paris Window, released by Not Not Fun in 2019. Babbitt’s work as both a solo artist and collaborator has been presented at the V&A Museum in London, the Art Institute of Chicago, SCI-ARC and Human Resources in Los Angeles, while in 2019 he was invited to present Overflows, a site-specific performance for four vocalists and quadraphonic electronics at the Getty Museum. Other projects include commercial work for Voguei-D Magazine, Chanel, and MOCA Los Angeles, mixes for NTS Radio and Dublab, and production for How to Dress Well, Tyler Matthew Oyer, and string arrangements and co-production on Angel Olsen’s 2019 album All Mirrors.
